Am I the only CSI fan out there? I'm a huge fan of the original (Las Vegas - anyone watch tonight's episode? ) but I do watch the other two.

Trust me, you are not the only CSI fan out there. My favorite CSI is Las Vegas, but I have started watching CSI: Miami. I never got hooked on CSI: NY though. Don't know why. I did watch tonight's episode (Feb 17) and it was just weird.
(Spoiler Warning! Do not read ahead if you haven't seen the episode!)
I do have to say I enjoy the scene where Gil and Nick walked into 'Forever Baby' and the person behind the counter went "Well aren't you lucky to have such a good daddy?" or something like that. Nick's look was priceless!!

I'm a *huge* CSI fan. I started watching Miami but Horatio...we don't mesh. We haven't got NY here in Australia yet, but I'll tune in - anything with Gary Sinese can't be bad!

CSI NY starts here on channel nine next week. Just saw the trailer for it. I really didn't get into Miamai. Love the L.A one the best. I just love crime shows.

I love the Vegas one, even better now that I have been to Vegas.
I seem to have this really strange fascination with the Miami one not sure why. I seem to have this love/hate realtionship with Horatio. Some moments I like him, others I can't. Weird.
As for CSI:NY, I was so looking forward to that one. I love Gary Sinise. But the show never clicked with me.
Which is weird. Now that I think of it. Do not really like Caruso, started watching because of Calleigh( liked her in West Wing) and the others, at least in the cross over, once they brought in Megan I left unitll she was gone, now he is part of why I watch it, see love/hate above. Love Gary, but can't stand the new show. I keep trying but most often I forget it is on.
I work nights so have to tape everything.

I enjoy all three CSIs. Vegas is my fave one, though. I didn't like the splitting up the team thing, so haven't been watching it as regularly as I used too. It also doesn't help that Sara and her thing for Gil grates on my nerves like fingernails on a chalkboard. But that's just me. I like Miami, although I was really pissed off with how they wrote out Speed couldn't he just have headed off to LA or NY or something? sheesh. That's the great thing about fanfic--he can be kept alive, so to speak. I enjoy NY, too. Took me a while to get into it but I am. I made a point to watch it because of Gary Sinise, I do like him as an actor. I think it's a good show. Better than "reality TV" for sure! s/

I didn't mind the original CSI, but I never watched it devotedly. It wasn't bad, I'm just not big on TV I'm not passionate about.
The guy in Miami just made me think of "Castaway".
And haven't seen NY yet, but if it has gary sinise it might be worth a look.

I love CSI, but recently my obsession has worn off a bit. I can't stand CSI: Miami...well I can't stand Horatio...I only watched the crossover w/NY becuase I wanted to see what NY was like...but the way Horatio said his name made me think of James Bond and I just can't stand him. I only got into CSI:NY because I have a friend whos obsessed with it, but I saw Tanglewood and now I'm obesessed with that. I obsess over way too many TV shows.

I can understand about obsessions wearing off. My loyalty to CSI:LV wavers from time to time. Mostly due to character-centric episodes that seem to ruin it for me. (I'm not a fan of Sara Sidle and lately, they seem to want to focus on her quite a bit...) but I'm a big hold out for Greg, Nick and the newest edition to the team (I forgot her name...) so I keep watching.
As for CSI:M. Ever since Speedle was killed off, I just don't really watch it. Not because of his dying but it just was around the time I lost interest. Of course, every now and again, I do find myself watching it (when nothing else is on...).
CSI:NY. I watched, in total 3 episodes. They were okay. The introductory episode with the Miami characters was really good though. Mostly because of the slash quality between H and the lead guy from NY...whatever his name is...

I have watched CSI (Vegas) since it started. I have tried to watch Miami, but David C. just gets on my nerves too much. At times he reminds me of William Shatner (just a tad over dramatic). I guess I just like the original more. Love Warrick, Nick and Greg. They make the show for me.

I've loved CSI (the original) ever since I started watching it maybe midway through the second season. (Somehow I almost always seem to miss out on good new shows until they've been out for a while. But I've been watching Atlantis and the new BSG since the beginning, so hopefully I've broken my streak.) I like all of the characters a lot, and I think it's one of the smartest shows on TV. Great stuff. I watch CSI: Miami sometimes, and like it pretty well, but not as much as the original. But I do have to speak up and wave my hand as a big David Caruso and Horatio Caine fan. I like the actor a lot and have ever since his year on NYPD Blue, and I like the character tremendously, too. See, there are some of us out here. I don't have any CSI 'ships, though, in either of the shows, and have no desire to write fic (or even read much) in either one of them. I think I have to really, deeply, passionately love one -- or better yet two -- of the characters in order for that to happen, and I think in these two cases my passion is for the show itself, not for individual characters. I haven't tried CSI: NY. I think I'm kinda maxed out on shows to follow.
